Ben-Gurion Society (BGS) is founded on the principles of David Ben-Gurion, the first Prime Minister of the State of Israel. BGS embodies Ben-Gurion's legacy, that young men and women use their vision and combine their power, passion and resources to build a strong and responsible Jewish community at home, in Israel, and around the world - through leadership development, networking opportunities, and special events.

BGS membership is open to all who make a contribution of $1,000 or more to the Tampa JCCs and Federation Annual Campaign as a sign of their commitment to leadership in the Tampa community.

The Ezra Society membership is open to donors that give a meaningful minimum gift of $180 to the Tampa JCCs and Federation Annual Campaign. This structured giving opportunity provides young adults with a clear definition of what exactly they are supporting and empowers each donor, knowing that their gift makes a significant impact in the local community, across the nation and worldwide. Ezra was chosen because it means “help.”

Every dollar raised supports vital programs and services including: Tampa Jewish Family Services, Hillel Academy of Tampa, Hillels of the Florida Suncoast, PJ Library, Tampa JCCs, Tampa JCC Preschools, Camp JCC, Adult & Senior Programming, The Young Adult Division, Israel/Ashdod, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, Jewish Council of Public Affairs, the Jewish Agency for Israel and so much more…

Our reach goes beyond Tampa. The Tampa Jewish Federation provides critical funding for a myriad of social services and community building efforts in Israel and in 70 counties across the world.
